"My name is Asia, although Joanna is my official name. Most people call me Asia.

I grew up in Poland, where I spent many years studying both music and ballet. My passion for movement eventually led me to continue along that path, studying dance and choreography.

Pilates was always a natural part of my training. After many years of creating and teaching dance, I connected with Linda and Jasmin, the previous owners of PC. That was around seven years ago—and the rest, as they say, is history!

Today, I teach barre, matwork and a variety of matwork-based classes. You may also meet me during an introduction session or a follow-up appointment.

It is so difficult to choose just one favourite exercise! In general, I love playful combinations that make you think, move and maybe even smile a little. But if I absolutely had to choose one exercise, it would be the roll-over. I loved being in that position as a child, and apparently, the feeling never went away!

My best advice to members is to stay consistent with your training while continuing to challenge yourself. Trust your body and step outside your comfort zone from time to time. Try different classes and keep progression in mind: add a little more weight, reach slightly higher or deeper, move with more control—or perhaps a little faster. Small improvements each week can make a big difference.

Being an instructor gives me the wonderful opportunity to meet new people and help them become stronger, healthier and happier. In a small way, I believe it helps make the world a little better.

Something not everyone knows about me is that I also run ballet courses for children and adults at the studio on Saturdays . I am a licensed nutrition coach as well, and I am always happy to share useful tips about living a healthy and balanced life.

I also used to volunteer at a bird rehabilitation centre, which reflects my deep passion for helping animals.

When I am not teaching, I enjoy spending time in nature, travelling, cleaning—it genuinely relaxes me!—interior design, gardening and photography. Most of all, I love sharing these interests and experiences with my family."
