Frequently Asked Questions

Getting Started & Studio Access

I’ve never tried Pilates before – where do I begin?

If you’ve never tried Pilates before, there are several great ways to get started at Pilates Complete — all of them suitable for beginners.

A simple first step is to join one of our beginner-friendly drop-in classes. In our drop-in calendar, you’ll find a variety of class types, and you simply pay per session. If you’d like an introduction specifically to the reformer, our Reformer Basic drop-in class is the perfect option.

You can also choose one of our 4- or 8-week courses, all designed to give you a stable foundation for your Pilates journey. Each course is beginner-friendly and allows you to progress with the same instructor and group over time.

You’re also very welcome to start by registering for a membership card. With a group training membership, you get access to our weekly schedule and can book yourself into a wide range of classes. A personal introduction is included, giving you the best possible start. The introduction is a 55-minute private session with one of our instructors and includes a personal consultation with a health profile, an assessment of your mobility, strength and balance, as well as a walkthrough of the fundamental principles of Pilates.

If you prefer to try a few classes before committing, our Trial Card offers three sessions at a discounted rate. It’s ideal for beginners or anyone curious about becoming a member. With the Trial Card, you can explore different class types, get familiar with our booking system, and experience how the waitlist works.

Do I have to pay a start fee?
Yes. New members pay a one-time start fee of 950 SEK, which includes a personal introduction to Pilates to ensure the best possible start to your training.

Anyone registering for group training memberships, class cards, or personal training packages is required to pay the start fee.

What does the introduction include?

  • A one-on-one introduction session with an instructor.

  • A follow-up after 12 months of training (free of charge).

  • If you have a 10-class card, an introduction is included with your first purchase. Follow-ups can be booked later for 950 SEK.

What is the follow-up?
The follow-up is a check-in meeting after 12 months of training. We review your progress, revisit your goals, and set new ones for the year ahead.

  • For annual or 12-month memberships, you can book your follow-up at renewal.

  • For monthly non-binding memberships, you must complete 12 months of payments before booking.

How do I book my introduction or follow-up?
Email us at info@pilatescomplete.se or ask one of our instructors after class.

Do I need to take my introduction before booking classes?
No. You can start classes right away. Many members even find that trying a few classes first makes the introduction more meaningful.
