Welcome to Pilates Complete- a complete Pilates studio in a beautiful and inspiring setting, located in center of Gothenburg. We offer a variety of quality group-training, personal training and exciting courses in Pilates, Yoga, Garuda and Barre.

Pilates Complete is a unique training studio inside a beautiful and inspiring environment located in the center of Gothenburg. Here you will be met with a cozy and creative environment.

In the heart of the Haga/Linné district, Pilates Complete opened in August of 2010, within the beautiful premises of a former corset factory (korsettfabriken). Our studio is accommodated in a bright premises with two open studios for group training classes and courses; as well as, a PT studio with complete equipment from STOTT PILATES® and Garuda Apparatus. Enjoy a nice cup of tea before or after your practice or take a soothing massage in our treatment room. Pilates Complete is also unique for having two large private terraces for outdoor training by the verdant Skansberget. In our boutique you can shop for functional, unique and comfortable training clothes from FitFit Active wear, pilates equipment and mats.

In 2016 Pilates Complete was named as the worlds most beautiful and inspiring Pilates studio. Merrithew describes the studio as airy, white and “breathtaking”, with its large windows and spacious areas.

Subscribe for a Pilates Complete membership and take adavantage of our group training classes as well as our private training.

Pilates Complete members are given a personal introduction with a health profile, a posture analysis and a flexibility, strength and balance test. You can join our inspiring events, organized throughout the year, that are free to our members.

Personal introduction, health profile and posture analysis

To become a member and get started with your training at our studio, please book an introductory session, at which you will meet one of our personal trainers (55 mins). This introductory session includes a health profile, a posture analysis, agility test, and a review of the STOTT PILATES basic principles. After your introduction we help to find the most suitable training program for you.

Every year you renew your membership and schedule a follow-up appointment where you and your personal trainer evaluate the past year and set new goals for your upcoming training sessions. The minimum age to subscribe for a Pilates Complete Membership is 16 years. For those training who are not 18 years old, we require a gaurdians signature on their behalf.

Inspiring member events each month, such as fun classes with guest instructors, interesting talks, exhibitions and mingle events.  There is tea and fruit each time you train at our studio.

Group training

Work out in our diverse and high-quality group fitness classes in Pilates, Garuda, Yoga and Barre. Our group training classes are held by our dedicated and well trained instructors in small groups ranging from 10-20 students. Challenge your balance and stability with wobblies, foam roller and ball; increase your strength and mobility on the reformers; practice your technique and body control on the mat, and get your heart rate up with cardiovascular exercises on the jump board and bosu.

Barre

Boost the intensity of your Pilates training and tone your muscles from top to toe with ballet-inspired Barre exercises. In this class we train standing by the ballet barre and use props like Flexband, Toning balls and Mini Stability Ball.

Ball/Roller

Challenge your balance and train the core stabilizing muscles in your body. In this class, we use props like the Pilates ball and Foam roller, as well as Flex bands and Toning balls.

Complete

Complete

Functional and challenging circle training where strength and mobility exercises are matched with fitness and balance training. In this class, we use varying Pilates props and machines.

Garuda

Garuda

Focus on the flow, rhythm and variety in this class is a mix of yoga, Pilates and dance. Find relaxation and precision in every movement and learn basic Garuda Technology for new vitality, strength and flexibility.

Matwork

Matwork

Basic training to get to know the Pilates technique, learn STOTT PILATES® warming‑up, essential and intermediate exercises. Gain a better body control, placing and technique. In this class, we only use our own bodies as a training tool.

Matwork 2

Matwork 2

An intense and coordinative class for those who have been practicing Pilates for some time. Take your training to the next level and improve your stamina, strength and technique. This fast paced class is intermediate and challenging with advanced drills.

Props

Props

Improve your co-ordination, gain strength and mobility, and shape your body in an efficient way. In this class we use props like Wobblies, Mini Stability Ball, Flex band, Fitness Circle and Toning Ball and BOSU.

Reformer

Reformer

Obtain optimum results for all parts of the body from this fantastic Pilates machine. In this class, we use the SPX Max Reformer for flexibility, strength and stamina and small props like the Fitness Circle, Toning Balls, Wobblies and Mini Stability Ball.

Reformer 2

Reformer 2

Get optimal results for the entire body in this fantastic Pilates machine. In this cardioclass, we use small props like the Fitness Circle, Toning Balls, Wobblies and Mini Stability Ball on the SPX Max Reformer with box for challenging strength exercises, balance and stamina.

Reformer Cardio

Reformer Cardio

Pulse-pounding and high-intensity training with jumping in the Pilates Reformer machine. Interval class where cardio is mixed with strength exercises. Note: JUMPBOARD requires basic knowledge of the reformer machine. Not recommended for people with neck or lumbar problems.

Yoga

Yoga

In this class, you train your body through various asanas (positions), breathing and relaxation exercises. Yoga improves concentration, builds strength and release blockages in the body. A queue class aimed at physical and mental well-being.

Group training schedule

The schedule is valid 2017-01-16 until 2017-07-02. Pilates Complete is closed on all mayor holidays and closed for summer in week 29-30.

Take private Pilates courses with one of our personal trainers and follow an individual training program designed for you. At Pilates Complete, we value qualitative training. Adapted entirely to your needs and goals, personal training provides new possibilities. Together we draw up a plan, and we provide you with personal advice and a customized training program. Your personal trainer guides, supports and encourages you to challenge yourself and achieve your full potential. We offer personal training in Pilates, Garuda and Yoga. A personal training session is 55 minutes.

PT Pilates

PT Pilates

Pilates is an effective training method that combines strength, stability and flexibility training. The method is exceptional with its accuracy and its focus on body awareness. We offer individual Pilates sessions in our full PT studio with Pilates machines: Reformer, V2MAX, Cadillac, Stability Chair, Ladder Barrel; and with smaller gear: Arc Barrel, Edge and other props.

PT Garuda

Garuda is an exercise inspired by Yoga, Pilates and Dance. You move in flowing series of rotations and movements, where training provides increased strength, flexibility, coordination and endurance. We offer individual Garuda training in our PT studio with the Garuda Apparatus, and mat-based exercise with smaller gear.

PT Rehab

Pilates has proven to be an effective rehab training for example back, pelvis and knee pains and is recommended by many physical therapists, physiotherapist and osteopaths. We offer private rehabilitation exercise in our full PT studio with Pilates machines and with smaller gear: Spine Corrector, Rotational Disks and other props.
